Naira Marley Signs First Female Artiste To Marlian Music. Nigerian controversial singer and CEO of Marlian Music, Naira Marley has signed the very first female artiste to his record label, Marlian Music.
The Marlian president signed Torilyna Keeche, with the stage name Torikeeche, a singer, songwriter and also a producer, today, August 20, 2020.
Torikeeche joins Zinoleesky, Mohbad, Cblack, Fabian, who were the first of artistes signed to the record label as well as Lyta, who was signed few weeks back.
Sharing the announcement via his Instagram page, the singer uploaded photos of Torikeeche, welcoming her to the record label.
He wrote; “Let’s welcome Marlian First Lady @torikeeche to MarlianMusic”
Also confirming the news, Torikeeche took to her Instagram page to make the announcement saying; “I’m happy to be apart of #marlianmusic family!”
Tori is also set to release her first single under her new management, titled “Yoga”, featuring Naira Marley.
Naira Marley may quit smoking anytime soon if he genuinely meant what he wrote in the caption of his recent post on Instagram but with the video he accompanied the caption with, we doubt that the singer is quiting.
In his recent post on Instagram, Naira Marley shared a video of himself lighting up a weed in his mouth. He didn’t make any remark in the video nor did anyone around him which made it look like the video had no sound.
In the caption for the video, Naira Marley preached that “Smoking Kills” and it was at this point that our attention was dragged to the Instagram post.
Barely 24 hours after his Lagos arraignment, he was again arraigned in Abuja by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on a four-count charge after performing in a concert in June at Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja, in clear violation of the presidential restriction on Interstate travels and public gatherings.
The controversial music star pleaded guilty to the charges filed against him.
Controversial Nigerian musical artiste Naira Marley has been fined the sum of N200,000 by an Abuja court for disregarding COVID-19 protocols when he traveled to Nigeria’s capital to perform at a drive-by concert.
After reporting to the police in Lagos, Marley was whisked away to Abuja where he was arraigned before an Abuja mobile court on Friday August 7, 2020.
The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) filed a four-count charge against him for hosting a concert in Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja, in clear violation of COVID-19 directives in June.
The musician pleaded guilty and the presiding magistrate Idayat Akanni handed him a fine of N200, 000.
Marley’s latest trouble with the law comes after he travelled to Abuja to perform at a drive-by concert.
Jabi Lake mall which hosted the event was sealed by authorities while Executive Jets Services, the airline which lifted him from Lagos had their license suspended.
